Event Registration Privacy Notice

This notice explains how AGI Podcast Network handles information people provide when registering for an AGI Podcast event, including Behind the Cape: Are Data Centers Really Scary?

The short version: We use registration information to run the event, communicate with attendees, and understand participation. We do not sell registration information. Sponsors and partners receive information for their own marketing only when a person separately chooses to hear from that specific organization.

Information we collect

When you register through LinkedIn or another event form, we may receive your name, email address, job title, company, country or region, and information about your registration, attendance, or event engagement.

How we use it

We use event information to:

administer the event and manage attendance;
send confirmations, reminders, schedule changes, access details, replay links, and related event resources;
respond to questions and support requests;
measure attendance and improve future programming; and
maintain consent, suppression, and event administration records.

We send promotional or marketing messages beyond the event only when you have made a separate affirmative choice to receive them or another lawful basis applies.

Service providers

We may use LinkedIn, Riverside, HubSpot, email providers, and other vendors acting on our behalf to host, administer, communicate about, or measure the event. They may process information only as needed to provide those services and subject to their own privacy and security obligations.

Sponsors and partner choices

AGI Podcast does not give its LinkedIn registration list to a sponsor or partner for that organization’s independent marketing. If we offer you a separate choice to hear from Chakra or Wooden Boy Industries, each choice will be clearly labeled and optional. We share your information with a named organization only when you affirmatively select that organization. Choosing one does not select the other, and declining does not affect your event registration.

Sale, retention, and security

We do not sell event registration information. We retain it only as long as reasonably needed for event administration, follow-up, consent records, and legal obligations. LinkedIn may make event lead data available to an organizer for a limited period under its own terms. We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect the information we control.

Your choices

You may ask to access, correct, or delete information we control, or withdraw a marketing consent, by emailing [email protected]. Withdrawing an optional marketing consent does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing or your ability to attend the event.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice when our event practices or legal obligations change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
